RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING STATE REVOLVING FUND FINANCING AND THE RESULTS OF
THE ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax plans to use State Revolving Fund financing for a water
storage project; and
WHEREAS,the State of Iowa requires a Public Hearing be to inform area residents of the
project, discuss the actual cost and user fees associated with this project, to address citizen's
concerns, if any, with the project, and review the results of the Environmental Review; and
WHEREAS, the State of Iowa requires public notice of not less than 30 days before the
Public Hearing; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Hearing to inform area
residents of the project,discuss the actual cost and user fees associated with this project,to address
citizen's concerns, if any, with the project, and review the results of the Environmental Review
shall be held at the city council meeting on Tuesday,December 10, 2019,at 6:00 PM at the Fairfax
City Hall at 300 80th Street Court, in Fairfax.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
