RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PLAT OF SURVEY REQUEST FOR
THE MARDELLE HOLST PROPERTY IN LINN COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, a Plat of Survey Request for the Mardelle Holst Property Located in the N1/2 of the
NW1/4 of Section 4, Township 82 North, Range 8 West in Linn County, Iowa, immediately adjacent to the
City of Fairfax's Northerly Corporate Limits; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has reviewed this Plat of Survey Request for said Mardelle
Holst Property in Linn County, Iowa and has submitted a letter of review dated December 6, 2019, which
recommends approval of this Plat of Survey Request.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,that the
Plat of Survey Request for said Mardelle Holst Property in Linn County, Iowa, is hereby acknowledged and
approved on the part of the City of Fairfax, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
Passed and approved this 10th day of December, 2019.

Mayor Frieden and Members of the Fairfax City Council,
I have reviewed the Plat of Survey Request for the Mardelle Hoist property, located just north of the
City of Fairfax Corporate Limits in Linn County, Iowa. Based upon my review, I recommend the City
of Fairfax approves this Plat of Survey Request.
