February 1, 1937.
NOW, TO-WIT, this 1st day of February, A. D., 1937,
at the hour of 7:30 P. M., the council of the Town of Fairfax,
Iowa met in regular session, being the regular monthly meeting
for the month of February, 1937, there being present Council-
men Frank J. Moynihan, Chas J. Dvorak and Chas E. Heaton,
with Mayor Behle presiding.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read
and approved.
On motion of Councilman Moynihan, seconded by
C. E. Heaton and unanimously carried the following bills
were allowed and ordered paid:
Iowa Elec. Light & Power Co. , Street Light $3.32
Wm. G. Zamastil, labor on streets - - - - 1.50
On motion of Councilam Heaton and seconded by
Dvorak and unanimously carried the following resolution was
passeds
RESOLVED, that the council designate the Fairfax
State Savings Bank of Fairfax, Iowa as depository for funds
of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa in sums not to exceed in the
aggregate ` 1,000.00 and E. F. Listebarger, Treasurer of the
Town of Fairfax, Iowa is hereby authorized to deposit funds
belonging to the town in said Fairfax State Savings Bank
in sums not to exceed in the aggregate `51,000.00.
Moved by Councilman Heaton, seconded by Councilman
Moynihan and unanimously carried to adjourn.
