June 7, 1937
NOW, TO-WIT, this 7th day of June, A. D., 1937 at the hour of
7:30 P. M. the Council of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa met in regular session
with Mayor Behle presiding.
Councilmen present: C.J.Knickerboeker, Frank J. Moynihan, John
Wavra and Chas J. Dvorak.
Councilmen absent: C. E. Heaton.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
On motion of C. J. Knickerbocker, seconded by C. J. Dvorak and
unanimously carried the bill to Iowa Electric Light & Power Co. for
$3.32 for street lights was approved and ordered paid.
Application for Cigarette License by Edgar Firkins was read
and on motion of Councilman Frank J. Moynihan, seconded by Councilman
John Wavra and unanimously carried said application was approved and
the license granted and the Clerk was authorized to issue said license.
Application for Beer Permit of Mrs Emma Boland was read and on
motion of Councilman Chas J. Dvorak, Seconded by Councilman Frank J.
Moynihan and unanimously carried said application was approved and the
clerk was authorized and instructed to issue said license in accordance
with said application.
On motion by Councilman Frank J. Moynihan, Seconded by Councilman
C. J. Knickerbocker and unanimously carried the meeting adjourned.
