NOW, TO-WIT, this 7th day of July, A. D., 1937 at the hour of
7:30 P. M. the Council of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa met in regular session
with Mayor Behle presiding.
All councilmen were present: C.E.Heaton, C.J.Knickerbocker,
Chas J. Dvorak, Frank Moynihan and John Wavra.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
On motion of councilman Chas J. Dvorak, seconded by councilman
C. E. Heaton and unanimously carried bill of Iowa Electric Light & Power
Company in the sum of %3.32 for street lights was approved and ordered paid.
On motion of councilman C. J. Knickerbocker, seconded by councilman
Frank Moynihan and unanimously carried Anticipation warrant for *0.00
held by the Fairfax State Savings Bank, together with interest accrued
in the sum of 13.85, was ordered paid.
On motion of councilman C.E.Heaton, seconded by councilman John
Wavra and unanimously carried $685.00 was fixed as the budget estimate
to be raised from taxes for the ensuing year and Aug. 2, 1937 at 7:30
P.M. was the time fixed for public hearing on said estimate.
On motion of John Wavra, seconded by councilman Chas J. Dvorak
and unanimously carried the meeting adjourned.
