Sept. 8, 1937.
NOW, TO-WIT: this 8th day of September, A.D., 1937
at the hour of 7:30 P. M. the Council of the Town of Fairfax,
Iowa, met in regular session with mayor Behle presiding.
Councilannpresent: Knickerbocker, Dvorak and Wavra.
Councilmen absent: Heaton and moynihan.
The minutes of the meeting of August 2, 1937 were
read and approved.
The following bills were read:
Iowa Elec*ric Light & Power Co. for St. lts. $3.32
J.L.Krall, Recording deed, & Rev. Stamp 1.25
Moved by Councilman Chas J. Dvorak, Seconded by Councilman
C. J. Knickerbocker and unanimously carried that the bills as
read be allowed and paid.
Plans were discussed regarding the romoval of the old
building on the lot purchased for use of fire station and
regarding the erection of the new building and the Mayor
and Town Clerk were authorized to employ someone to remove
the present building and to purchase material and obtain the
necessary help to erect the new building.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
