NOW TO-WIT: this 24th day of March, A. D., 1938 at 7:30 P. M. the
Council of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa met in special session and in
the absence of Mayor Behle, on motion duly made, seconded and carried,
Councilman Chas J. Dvorak was made Chairman of the meeting.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, C. E. Heaton was
made clerk of the meeting.
Councilmen present: Chas J. Dvorak, John Wavra, Frank Moynihan,
and C. E. Heaton.
Councilman absent; C. J. Knickerbocker.
This being the date set for public hearing upon the proposed
budget as adopted by the Council at the meeting of March 7, 1938, and
the Town Clerk having advertised said proposed budget estimates as
provided by law and there being no objections offered, it was moved,
seconded and unanimously carried that the budget as appropriated in
the meeting of March 7, 1938 be and is hereby adopted.
The appointment of John Wavra as Judge, and James Claflin
and Omer Tow as Clerks to serve at the Election to be held March 28,
1938 was unanimously arproved.
It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried to adjourn.
