NOW TO-WIT: This 9th day of January, 1939 at the hour of 7:30
P. M. the Town Council of the Town of Tairfax, Iowa met in
special session.
Mayor, Am. Pehle, Presiding. h
Councilmen Present. Chas A Dvorak, Frank J. Mowiban, Chas
R. Heaton and C. J. Knic arbocker.

The minutes of the orec.eoding meeting were read ani approved.
The Mayor and Councilman Knickerbocker reported of inspecting
the territory near the alley in the rear of the Im. ➢o tal
property relative to a request by said `gym. Do sta.l. for a
culvert at the alley. Due to the frozen ground it was
deeded to defer action on this matter until later in the
spring.
The matter of obtaining; additional_ crushed roc's was discussed
and it was suggested that Councilman Knickerbocker make some
investigation regarding the possibility of obtaining crushed
rock.
There being no further businens the meeting adjourned.
