April 3, 1939.
The Town Council of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa met in
regular session this 3ra day of April, 1939.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P. M. by
Councilmen Present. John Wavra, Chas A Knickerboaker,
Prank J. Moynihan, Chao J. Dvorak and C. E. Heaton.
The minutes of the preceedinE meeting were read and
Application of Mr. james Yanceek for renewal of Class
B. Beer Fermit was read and an motion made, seconded and
unanimously carridd the clerk was autborized to issue said
renewal ermit upon paynant of the 0100,00 feel filing of
proper bond and Dafng Ke state fee.
The Town Council 3itting as a board of review examined
the books of James Yanecek Asaesser. There being no objections
filed and it apnearing that all assessments were proper it was
moved, oeconded and carried unanimously to approve said booko.
Moved 0 Councilman Frank J. Moynihan, Seconded by
Courci2man John ffa-,ra and unanimously carried that the week of
April 10th be designated as "Clean Up Day" in Fairfax and that
the Mayor be, and is hereby authorized and instructed to issue
a procimmation designating the week bOginning April 10, 1939
a6 Clean Up Day.
Voved by Councilman C. E. Heaton, Seconded by Councilman
John Wavra and unanimously carried to adjourn.
