June 13, 1339
The Tovn Council of the Tour of Fairfax, Iowa met in regular
session this 13th day of June, 1939.
j The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P. M. By W. Behley
Mayor.
Councilmen present: John Wavra., Chas J. Dvorak, Frank J. Moynihan,
0. J. Knickerbocker and C. E. Heaton.
f The minutes of the preceeding meeting mere read and approved.
Application for Permit to Sell Beer by Mrs Emma Boland was read I
and on motion by Councilman Ckas J. Dvorak, Seconded by Councilman John

j a� vra and unanimously carried the Clerk was authorized to issue to i
Mrs Emma Boland a beer permit effective July 1, 1939 on payment of
the $100.00 license fee and posting of proper bond.
Application of Edgar Firkins for permit to sell cigarettes
was read and on motion of Councilman Frank J. Moynihan, seconded by
Councilman C. J. Knickerbocker' and unanimously carried the Clerk
as authorized to issue a cigaretter license to said Edger Firkins
on pa.l erft of the %50.00 license fee and posting of proper bond.

A bill by W. F. Zamastil for 0.50.0 covering fee for hauling
ruggish and cleaning culverts was read, approved and orderec? paid.
A bill by i. L, &gall} Agent for the low. N teal Liability
insurance Company for 02150 to cover the cost of premium for
fire insurance on the Fire Truce was apporved and ordered paid.
'lie Mayor was authorized and instructed to employ someone
to taint the wood parts of the Fine Station.
MO'Ved, Seconded and carried to adjourn.
