Regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa held. this 2nd day of December, 1940 .
The meeting was called to order at 7 ; 50 P. M, by
kayor Eehle.
Councilmen Fressite Chas J. Dvorak, C. E. Heaton
and Wm. E. Dvorak.
Councilmen absent: Frank Moynihany and C . J . Anic erboaker .
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and
approved.
Mayor Behle reported on the progress the committee
was making regarding the graveling of Eosey Road.
Regarding the resolution passed at the .cast meeting
with reference to discontinuing payment of Z1 . 00 per
meeting to Firemen residing outside the limits of the
Torn of Fairfax the concensus prevailed that they
should be allowed pay for the year 1940 since they I
had served with that impression but that they were
to understand that after 194O no pay would be allowed
there for attending meetings.
There being, no further business the meeting adjourned.
