March 245 1041 .
On this 212 h duy of Arch2 1911 the Town Council-
of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa met in special session with
Mayor W. Bed presiding .
The meeting was called to orler at 700 P. G .
by the Mayor.
All Councilmen were present .
The minutes of the two proceeding meetings wer��
rand and approved .
This beinE the date act for public haaring upon the
proposed budget estimate as adopt by the Town CouncUi-
at the meeting of March 3, 19113 und the Town Gisr" having
advertised said proposed bu ,Eet estimates as provided.
bl law, by posting notices in three public pinces, and therc,
being no objections offered, it wasmoved by Councilvan.
Chas J . DvorLk, Seconded by counuilown 0 . E. Beaton, and
unanimously carried that the budget as a7propr&at2d and
advertised be and is hereby aporoved.
Because Chas J . Dvorak, Chief of the Fallfan Firc
DepartoeDt, has so efficicntly and faithfully looked after
the Fire Department equiDment and the heating of the
fire statiou without any compensation whatever, it was
moved by Councilman C. J . hniCk2rbocker, seconied b,
Councilman Am. E. Dvorak, and unanimously curni - d to
pay said Chas J . Dvorak @24 .00 for caring for the
Fire Department equipment for the past year and tbat
he be alloved U000- par year for caring for eame fo2
the coming year.
There bsong no further business to come before
the council the meeting adj -urned.
Application for permit to sell cigarettes by James Yan-
seek was read and it wan moved, seconded and carried to
approve the application and the clerk was authorized
to issue a permit effective Apr. 1, 19W.
