Dvorak seconded that the Town Clerk notify the Iowa Electric Light & Power Company that the pole just in front of the former Barber ship is brok en off at the ground and requires t,ttea�t a.oa . the motion was unanimous51y approved. The following applications for renewal of cigarette per, its, all of which expire June 30, 1941, were, read: James Yanecek, Edgar Firkins and Mrs Emma, Boland. It was roved by Councilman , Chas J. Dvorak, Seconded by Councilman, C. J. Knickerbooker, that the application for cigarette permit's as read be approved and that the Torn Clerk be and is hereby authorized to issues said permits upon filing of proper bonds and payment of the statutory permit fee of $50.00 for each permit. Not- ion unanimously passed. Application for renewal of been licuese by 11-:•s Emma Boland, which present license expires July 1, 1941, was read. It was moved by Councilman, C. E. Heaton., Seconded by Councilman V4m. E. Dvorak and unanimously carried that Mrs Boland' s beer permit be rene-wed upon payment of the $100.0.0 fee and the filing of proper bond. There 'eing no further business it was moved by Councilman C. J . Knickerbocker, seconded by Cou.nci.lman Um. E. Dvorak and unanimously carried to adjourn. The meeting adjourned.
