July 21, 1941.
Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa,
held this 21st day of July, 1941 in accordance with resolution
passed at the meeting of duly 1, 1941.
The meeting was called to order at S P. M. by Mayor Behle
with the following councilmen present: C. J. Knickerbocker,
Chas J . Dvorak, C. E. Heaton and Wm. E. Dvorak. Council-
man Frank Moynihan was absent.
The Io*rd- Electric Light & Power Co . representatives, xank
`lack and J. R. gyre appeared before the Council offering a re-
vised Electric Light rate applicable to Fairfax, which rate
was somewhat lower than the present rate in affect. Resolution
as per copy attached was adopted accepting the new electric
light rates as set out in the resolution.
The minutes of the meeting of July 7, 1941 were read
and approved.
This being the meeting set for adoption of the budget
as recommended by the Cc'unti.l at the meeting of July 7th, and
the Town Clerk having advertised said Budget Estimate and
the time of heading and the place and there being no objections
filed it was moved by Councilman Chas J. Dvorak) Seconded by
Councilman C. J. Knickerbocker and unanimously carried to
adopt said budget as recommended and as advertised and that
same be certified to the County Auditor.
There being no farther business to cone before the
meeting it was moved by councilman C. E. Heaton, Seconded
by Councilman C. J. Dvorak and unaiwously carried to adjourn.
