Meeting of the Town douncil of the Tour of Fairfax,
Iowa held this 5th day of October, 1042 .
The meeting was called to order at 5 P. N. by Layor
Behl e a
Councilmen present: C .J.Knickerbocker, W. E. Dvorak,
C. & Heaton and Frank aoyn han.
Councilman C. J. Dvorak was absent .

Mayor Beh1 e announced the apgoi tment of Clarence L.
McCalZhesy' as MaI:ah,al7 . it :u+:a5 moved, seconded and unanimously
carried that the appointment of Clarence L. McCaughey as
Marshall by the Mayor be and in hereby approved,
The Cie.rk reported that all but four persons had paid
the s ecia1 " l and Gravel Assessment" and that the four un-
paid assessments ha.d been certified to the County k d._i_tor.
