Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Fairfax,
Towa held this Kh day of January , 1943.
The meeting was chiled to order at 7 : 50 P. M. By
Mayor, W). Be le and all Councilmen were present .
The minutes of the preceeding weeting were read
and approved as read.
It w moved by Councilman C . J . Knickerbocker,
seconded by councilman C . F. Heaton and unanioovsl,,-
carried to authorize the Treasurer, F. F. Llstebarger,
to execute an Anticipatory varrange in the amount of
$1, 500 .00 in favor of the Fairfox State Sayings Bank at
3% interest, said warrLnt to be dated i4n. 6 , 1543 and
due Jan 6 , 040,
It was moved by councilman C. E. Heaton, seconded
by counciinan Frank loynihan and unnnimously carried that
E. tax of 01 . 00 be levied against each male and ezch spayed
female dog and )NOD against each female dog kept or harbored
in the Town of Fairfax during 1945 and that said tax be paid
before April 1, 1943 and if not paid by April 1, 194Z a penalty
of $1 .00 be taxed against each dog.
There being no further business it was moved, goconded
and unanioously carried to adjourn.
