June 7, 1943.
Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Fairfax,
Iowa held this 7'th day of June, 1943.
The meeting v-as called to order at 8 P. N. by
Mayor Berle :
Councilmen presnet: C.J. Knickerbocker, C.J. Dvorak,
I'm. E. Dvorak and C. E. Reaton®
Councilman Frank J. Moynihan was absent.
The Minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and
approved.
Application by Mrs Emma. Bola-ad for renewal of her
Class 3'D" Retail Eeer Permit was read and it was roved
by Councilman C. J. Dvorak, seconded by Councilman C. F.
Heaton and unanimously carried to grant a renevial of the
said beer permit to Mrs Emma. Deland.
Application for renewal of Gigarett Permits by
the following were read:
.Mrs Emma Boland, Edgar Firkins, James Yaneeek.
It a as moved by Councilman Wm. E. Dvorak, seconded
blx Conneilman C . J . Knickerbocker and unanimously;- carried
to greant r°enewil cigar permits to each of the applicants .
It was roved by Councilman C. J. Knickerbocker,
seconded. by Councilman Chas J. Dvorak and unanimously carried
to send written notice of instructions xxxtu to each home
in. Fairfax instructing them that Suitable containers must
be provided for their bottles, cams, etc. and that all
bottles must be broken and any other item placed in the
container to be picked by the regusa.r service provided
must be flattened or broken so that it will not Float
and further that iff ,such instructions are not complied �
with the collector of garbage will not be permitted to
remove their garbage from their premises.. 3

seconded and unanimously carried to adjourn.
