Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Fairfax held
this 16t1? Ky of July, 1943.
The meeting was called to orKr at 8 P. Y. by Mayor,
!I Wm. BehIc.
Roll call showed all councillor present.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved
as read.
The Town Clerk s bmitted the proposed ToTn Budget Estimate
for the year beginning April. 1, 1944 a5 followFe
Consolidated fund $1 ,4dt1.00 plus estimated ether income of
$350.00; Faire Maintenance $120.00 and Fire Equipment .$60.00.

Tt was moved. by Councilman Q. J. Knicke bcock.ey, seconded
by councilman W F. Dvorak and unanimouAT carried that
we fix the budget estimate as submitted by the Town. Clerk
and that August 2, 1_9W, d P. V . be fixed as the time of
hearing and that the Fairfax State Savings Bank be fired
as the place of hearing one said budget estimate and that the
Town Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed to
publish in tho Cedar Rapid, Gazette notice of said hearingy
as provided by statue. �
