May 7th , 1945 .
R eLular meeting of the Town Coans'.1 of
the Town of Fairfax, Iowa held this 7th day of
May, 1945.
The meeting convened at 8 P. M. and in the
absence of Mayor W Behle, it was moved, seconded
W carried that Chas J. Dvorak act as hay ar for
thia meeting.
Councilmen Prennet : Chas J. Dvorah, Fran!:

The Minutes of the preaseding meeting vere
read and approved.
it was moved by Councilman Frank L. Tarta
Seconded by Councilmen Wm - E. Dvorak and unanimousely
carried that the Town Clerk be and is hereby in-
structed and authorized to see that all stop signes
are straightened ay and properly 5et.
Some discussion wn, had regarding Automobiles
parked on the streets in violation of Ordnanc -,
No . 8, some of the Autos parked in the same spot
without moving same for many months. No official
action was taken, however, but. it wa5 agreed that
this matter should be deferred until the next
meeting .
Tt waa again called to the attention of
the Council that certain parties gere cons t'
dumping garbage, washwater, etc on the streets
and it was agreed that this Datter should be
brought to the attention of the Town Marshal who
should ask that this practice be discontinued.
There being no further business it Tas moved,
seconded and carried to adjourn.
