August 8, 1945.
Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa held this 8th day of August, 1945.
The meeting was called to order at 8 P. M.
by Mayor Wm. Behle.
Counc:ilmenX Present: Chas A. Elson, C. J.
Knickerbocker, Chas J . Dvorak, Frank L. Barta,
and Wm. E. Dvorak,
Councilmen absent: None.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read
and approved.
A bill from the League of Iowa Municipalities
for dues for the year Aug. 1, 1945 to Aug. 1, 1946 was
read and it was moved by Councilman Chas J. Dvorak,
Seconded by Councilman C . J. Tnickerbocker, and
unanimously carried to renew our membership for the
year and to pay the bill for $15.00 covering same.
C . J. Knickerbocker asked the Council about
obtaining a permit for the Concrete Materials Con-
struction Co. to operate thi5 fall. The matter
was discussed and some suggestions and recommendations
made but no official action taken.
It was moved by C. J. Knickerbocker, Seconded
�y Chas A. x-lson and carried to adjourn.
