November 5, 1945.
Regular meeting of the Town Council of the tarn
of Fairfax,. Iowa held this 5th day of liov. , 1945.
Due to the absence of Mayor, Wm. Dehle, it was
moved, seconded and carried that Wm. E. Dvorak act
as mayor at -this meeting.
Cauncilmen� presneta Frank L. Barta, Chas J .
Dvorak, C. J. Knickerbocker, Chas A. Elson and Wm.
E. Dvorak.
Councilmen absent: None .
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were
read and approved.
The resignation of Wm. Dehle as mayor was read.
It was decided to file the resignation. .and not to
take any action on same at this meeting with hopes
that perhaps mayor Dehle might return to Fairfax
sooner than he anticipatds
It was moved, seconded and carried to renew
the Employers Mutual. Casualty Company insurance
Policy No. VF 16551 covering the Volunteer Fire
DeAartment mem err and that the Clerk be, and is
hereby authorized to pay the premium of $80.00.
The McCoy Family again came up for discussion
and Mr. Elson agreed that he would consult with the
County Attorney regarding the matter in the near
future and report back.
There being no further basiness to come before
the meeting it was moved, seconded and carried to
adjourn.
