Nov. 21, 1945.

Special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa held this 21st day of Nov. , 1945. �

In the absence of pia y or Beira. Behle it was moved
seconded and carried that Yam. E. Dvorak, act as
mayor for this meeting.
Councilmen present: Chas A. Elson, C. J. Dvorak,
Wm. E. Dvorak and frank L. Barta.
Councilman C. J. Knicherbocker was absent; although
he had been notified but the last minute found he could
not be present he telephoned the Clerk saying it was
agreeable that the meeting be held and he be absent.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and
approved.
The bill of Geo. Ca Thomas for Constable service the
night of Oct. 21, 1945 for $11.00 was read and it was
moved, seconded and carried that the bill be allowed
and paid.

Application/of Ralph H. Emanuel. for Beer Permit and
for Cigarette permit were read.

It was moved b;y Councilman C . J. Dvorak, Seconded by
Councilman Frank L. Barta and unanimously carried that
the permits be issued upon payment of the regular fees
and filing of proper bond.

The McCoy family problem was again discussed and it
was agreed that the Town Clerk was to see Mr. McCory
and ask him to meet with the Council and discuss the
matter and try to arrange for proper care of the
j children.
The Losey Road was discussed, several persons having
complained to the the Town Clerk and it was agreed to
make an effort to have the County scarify tnd drag
this road or obtain some materil to fix the holes �
temporarily.
There being no further brashness it was moved, seconded
and carried to adjourn.
