May 6, 1946
Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa held this 6th day of May, 1346.
The meeting was called to order at 8 P.
by Mayor, John Lefebure.
The Councilmen present were C. J. Knickerbocker,
Chas A. Elson and Frank L. narta.
Councilmen absent: Chas J . Dvorak and Vim. E.
Dvorak.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were
read and approved.
Letter from IoNa Road Building Company was
read and it was decided that the Town Clerk should
write said Iowa Road Building Company and advise
them that we would be ready to have the oil applied
to the streets the latter part of May.
Application by Raymond U. Probst for Cigarette
permit was read, and it was moved by C. J. Knickerbocker,
seconded by Frank L. Barta and carried that the permit
be issued to Raymond 4. Probst upon filing of proper
bond and payment of the fee of X12. 50 for the remaining
last quarter.
Informal discussion was had regarding booster
pump, water supply and Ralph ' s Tavern but no official
action taken.
There being no further business it was moved,
seconded and carried to adjourn.
