request of C. J. Knickerbocker, and the Concrete
Materials & Const,rr?cti.on Company

Councilmen present; Chas J . Dvorak, Jahn
E. Murphy, W. W. Wims and Wm. F. Zamastil.
Councilmen a.bsentw Howard V. Steinmetz
Marvin J. Nelson of the Concrete Materials
nd construction Company and Ca C . Knickerbocker
were present for the purpose of making some arrange-
ments to permit the Quarry to blast rock since they
were forbidden since Friday, April 23rd to blast,

After considerable discussion and explanations
from Marlin Nelson as to what canned the extremely
heavy blast on Friday, April 23rd and with a, very
defina.te promise that every effort would be made �
to see that the loada would be held to a maximum
of 150 lbs and if possible they would be set off
at a time when a train might be passing , and with
a definate promise from the council that 'unless
they did comply with such regulations and wishes
of the council the permit would be revoked and
it -would be needless to appear again with a request
for a permit, it wa.s moved, seconded and carried
that the permit be granted®
There being no farther business it was moved,
seconded and carried to adjourn.

MEREA3, the Incorporated Town of .�, ' Iowa,
has a street lighting system: owned and maintained by the Iowa Electric Light and
Power Company and that the Town swishes to eater into an agreement with the Iowa
Electric Light and Poorer Company covering rages and charges for the maintenance
and supply of electric energy for the operation of such system, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the town of

Iowa, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized a a directed to enter into an
agreement dated �. ! ._..__ 9 , with the Iowa. Electric
Light and Power Company for such street lighting services.

Gentlemen;
The following Resolution was passed by the town council of the
Incorporated Town o£ at a regular meeting of the town
council held on , 19 .

Be it resolved by the Tcwn Council of the Incorporated Town of
yi Iowa, that the Iowa Electric Light and Pcwer
Company be authorizer) and is hereby directed to install street lights at the
following location, according to the terms expressed in the existing street light-
ing contract
