Meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Fairfaxj Iowa held this 26th day of August,
1943.
The meeting was called to order at 8 P. M.
by Mayor, John Lefebure.
Councilmen Present, Chas J. Dvorak, Jake.
E. Murphy, Howard V. Steinmetz, Ill. 17. Wims and
Wm. F. Zamastil...
Councilmen absent: None.
The minutes of the pr°eceeding meeting
were read and approved.
Application for Class B. Beer permit
by Pekomy Past 572, The American Legion, was
read.
It was moved by Chas J. Dvorak, seconded.
by W. W. Wim,5 and unanimously carried that the
permit be issued upon payment of the fegular
license fee of $150.00 and filing of proper
bond.
The following matters were informally
discussed but no official action taken; �
Removal of the Flag pole from the center
of the street to some other location;
The matter of acquiring the American Legion
grounds at the vaest end of Main street for a. toga
park and playground:

Fast and reckless driving by various persons.

There being no further business to come before
the meeting it was roved, seconded and carried to
adjourn.
