Meeting of the Town C o u n"•, i, of the T a i i°n of Fairfax,
Iowa held this 26th day of july, !W .
The meeting was called to order at 8.00 P. 1. by
mayori John E. Murphy .
Councilmen present: Chas J. Dvorak, Andre, G. Miilzr�,
Councilmen absent; Howard Steinmetz.
The minutes of the proceeding meeting vers read and

The Budget Estimate as presented and .._ilea July 7th ,.
Cedar 1949, having been published in the
Gazette as provided by law, vas con5ideyed. There
boing no taxpayers present to object, and no objections
having been filed, it nas moved by Councilman W. W.
Wims, seconded by councilman Chas J. Dvorak, and .,!nan
Llouoly carried to adopt the budget as filed and pub

Several residents of Fairfax appeared to pfo Ves L the
dynamiting by the Knickerbocker Quarry. Particujar
emphasis was made regarding bombings at night, as late
as 11: 30 P. M. , also the extra heavy charges . C. L.
