keeting of the Town Council of the Townof
Fairfax, Iowa. head this 24th day of July, 1950®
The meeting was cared to order at 8 P. M.
by Mayor, John. E. 10.urpny.
Councilmen presnetc Chas J. Dvorak, Andrew G.
Miller, Howard Steinmetz, W. W. brims and W.m. F. Zamast 1.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting mere read
and approved.
The Bituminous hltl' s Co. of Marion submitted a
sample of their street patching material.
It was moved by Howard Steinmetz, 8econ.d.ed by
Andrew G. Miller, and unanimously carried that � e
purchase a l a d (Three to Five tons) and that Chas
J. Dvorak be and is hereby authorized to supervise
the patching,, purchasing, Etc.
The Budget Estimate as presented and filed
at the July 5th,, 1950 meeting, having been published in
the Cedar Rapids,, Iowa Gazette as provided by law, was
considered. There being no taxpayers present to
object, and no objections having been filed, it was
moved by Councilman Chas J. Dvorak, Seconded by Councilman
Howard Steinmetz, and unanimously carried to adopt the
budget as filed and published and the Town Clerk be and
is hereby instructed and authorized to file same with
the County Auditor.
There being no further business to come before
the meeting it was moved, seoonded and carried to
adjourn.
