Meeting of the Town Council of' the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa held this 19th day of Sept. , 1951.
The meeting was eal.led to order at 7: 30 P . M.
by Mayor, John. E. Murphy.
Councilmen present; Andrew G. Miller, Howard
Steinmetz, W. Vi. Wims and Vim. F. Zamastil.
s Councilman absent: Chas J. Dvorak.

It was moved, seconded and carried to pay the
premium of $10.00 on the Marshal' s bonds
It was moved, seconded and carried to allow
�® L. Krall,, Town Clerk $10.08 to cover mileage to
Waterloo meeting held Augtat 30th.

Steinmetz attended to meeting of Municipal Accounting
Officers in Wat,erloon can kugust 50th and reported on

Town Clerk, J. L. gall' reported that Mrs Paula
Mason who operates the Drag & Sundiries store and who
now holds a Class C. Deer permit made inquiry about
obtaining a class B. beer permit. The matter was dis-
cussed and the c:oncensus of opinion prevailed that since
r we already had �2 class E. beer permits in torn, and that
' since her place; of business was a soft drink and icream
parlor where numerous minor children spent considerable
time therein it would be unwise to issue a class B
permit to her.

i It was moved, seconded and carried that Howard
Steinmetz obtain material and build road signs,, about
4 ft by 4 £t, have it painted white, then have a sign
painter paint the letteri
