Meeting of the Iowa Council of the Town of
Fairfax, :toes held this 7th day of Nay, 3'52®
The meeting was called to order at 8 P. X.
by Mayor, Franklin ® k. rat.
Councilmen Present ; Andrew G. Nill r, Howard
Steinmetz, Winford W. Wims and W F. Zamastil .
Councilman Gloss J. Dvorak was bge t .
The minutes of the preceeding melting da ere
read and approved.
The following bills were read: Milo Brr.res $13.000
W.S.D arle y & Co. $6.47, Am. py® Express $1.61, Iowa
Elec. Lt . VI Power Co. $1.02 and $29 .78.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the
bills as read be allowed and warrants Na. 18 to #22
inclusive approved in payment of .
The Treasurer's report shoving the amounts i �
the .several funds totaling in the aggregate $2,343. 66
was read.j

of Loren S. Carver as Streets Commissioner and Loren 1
Carver was present and met with the council to disco s
his duties .
Marshal CSOcC ugh y was present at the

partment were discussed.
Letter was read from Iowa Municipal Finance
Officer& As5ociation announcing the annual meeting
to be hold in Des Nai nys v Iowa ra May 15th and 16th.
The Mayor, the Street Commissioner and the �I
Streets and Alley Committee agreed to meet Monday
evening, Kay 12th;, and look overa the streots with
a view to determining what , if anything, is needed
in the way of repairing, etc.
