Fairfax, Iowa held this 2nd day of July, 1952 at 8 W clod
P.N. , Mayor Franklin Karat presiding,
Coun di lmen present : Andrew G. Miller, Howard Steinmetz,
and Wm. F Zamastil.
Council en absent ; Chas A Dvorak and W. W. Wims
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and
approved.
The treasurerts report showing a balance aggregate
in all funds of $3,771.12®
The following bills were read: Raymond Snell $38.38,
Ia. Nat . Xut , Ins . Co. $130.38, Ia®E'l, Et & P. Co. ,30009
Dunlapy & Miller $112.50, Andrew ill r $16.08, Loren S.
Carver $51.75, Frank L. Darta. 3 m , League of Iowa Muni-
cipalities $30.00, and Bituminous Xat ri .ls Co. ,$51 .17®
It was moved, seconded and carried that the bills
be allowed and warrants #30 to #38 inclusive in payment
of same be approved,
The down Clerk, J.L.Krall, Presented the following
Budget Estimate and Record of Filing for the extimate of
expenditures for the year beginning January 1, 1953
Taxes to be "levied:

It was moved by Councilman Howard Steinmetz,
seconded by Councilman Wm. F. Za asti 1, and unanimously
carried, the Budget Estimate as presented be fled and.
that the date car Baring be set as August 6, 1952 at
8 o ' clock P.M. and that notice of said hearing be
published in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa Gazette.
There being no further business to come before
the meeting it was moved, seconded and carried to adjourn.
