Councilmen pros nt . Howard Steinmetz, Andre G. Miller, and aymond B. j inner® Councilmen absent : Chas J. Dvorak and W. F. Zamastit Councilman Raymond D. Nizner, having been elected to the council at the preceeding menting, to succeed councilman Winford W. Wims , rQsigned, was 5vurn in by "gown Clerk, J. L. Krall. The minutes of the p receeding meeting were read j and approved. In response to an invitation to the neighboring tgwss sent as Baer resolution passed at the Oct . 1, 7952 meeting the following towns were represented: Norway by the Yayor• and three fi.rumen@ Swisher by the Nayor and three: firemen. A ana by Three firemen The purpose of the _rkeeting being to arrive at o e defin.at e conclusion a5 to exchange of help by the various fire departments . The majority opinion prevailed that free exchange of service should e continued for !, each of the neighboring towns where: fume member of that fire department called for help and where help was for either~ the town of members having paid a service to that department. Help for persons not having paid for a service to any department to be charged® Each town was to take this matter up with the council an then notify the other towns . It was U reed that the Dort F-8 Chassis ordered of Hearn Stevenson was not delivered and likely not to be delivered it was voted to cancel said contract , if possible, and the Mayor and the Town Clerk were authorized then to sign a contract with International harvester for one L-1356 chassis as per proposal at $3, 836® 829 Said motion being offered by Howard Steinmetz, seconded by Andreas €.
