Special meting in of the Town Council of the town
of Fairfax, Iowa.
The meeting was called to order at 7 - 30 p. X.

Councilman an Raymond D. Hizner was absent
The minutes of the previous greeting were read
and approved.
The Treasurer 's report was read,
Bills No. 110, 1.1,1 and 112 were read and it
was moved, seconded and carried that said balls be
allowed and warrant5 of same numbers in payment of
same be approved.,
The following applications for Cigarette License
were read. Albert Sankot , alFr€r o €k W. Probst , Nowared
`elide, and Boland Tavern, and it was moved, seconded �
and a na -;t nimcusly carried that the permits be allowed
and the Clerk be and is hereby authorized to issue same.
The fill. ir-t appl.icatio s for Beer license
`sere read: Boland Ta erns and Albert W. Sankot , and
it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that
they be granted and the Clc.rk issue sameX upon payment
of the $150.00 fee and filing of proper bored,
It was moved, seconded and carried that J. L. Kall
and Jack Neuhaus be , and are , hereby authorized to
purchase a metal file for keeping of the Fire- pepartr e nt
Records at the Fire Station,
It was moved, seconded. and carried that Chas J.
Dvorak be authorized to supervise ,the repairing of
the streets.
Report on the voluntary graver assessment showed
that all except Helen klasle,y Marx have signified their
willingness to pay the s .gge t::sal amount. fir Marx
was to be seem again and if all paid in the graveling
was to be done.
