Special meeting of `e Town Council of the Town
of Fa.ir°fa _r Iowa held this 14th, day of Jutea,1953.
The meeting was called to order gt 7:30 P.M. by
Mayor, Founklin J. Kara! ,
All Councilmen were present,
The minutes of the predeeding ne tin were read
and approved.
The Treasurer 's report showing a balance of'
$7 ,325. 47 aggregate in all funds was read.

Bills a represented by arrant o. 110 to No.
118 inclusive were read and it was moved, seconded an
carried that all bills as read be approved and ordered
paid.
Application for Cigarette permit by Elmer N.
Vorel was read and it was moved, seconded and unanimously
carried that the permit be issued,
Town Clerk, J. L. Kr°all, presented the following
budgol estimate and record of filing for the e5timate of
expenditures res fora t: e Beare beginning Janyary 1, 1954:

Total tar to be levied
Tt was moved by councilman Howard teinmetz, seconded
by councilman Chas J. Dvorak, and unanimously carried that
the Budget Estimate as presented be filed and that the dat e
for hearing e Ot as August 5 , 1953 at 7:30 o 'clock P.N.
and that notice of said hearing be published in the Ceda r
Rapids , Toes Gazette,
it was moved , s econded and unanimously carried
that the f0lo ,°ink; charges be made or service by the
Fairfax Fire Truck to non-members :
$150.00 Or° each call and $30. 00 per "our
addit Lal fora each hour•. after the first st hour° that
the truck ranains at the fire.
