Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Fairfax, �
Iowa held this 5th day of August, 1953.
The meeting was called to order at 7.30 P. T4. by
mayor, Franklin J anal®
Councilmen present : Chas J. Dvorak, Raymond D. Xizner,
and Wan. F. Zamastil.
Councilmen absent - Andrew G. Diller and Howard y. Steinmetz.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and
approved,
The Budget Estimate as filed. July 14, 1953 having
been published in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa Gazette on the
29th day of July, 1953 was discussed.. There being no
objections filed and no objectors present p said budget
was further considered and it eras. moved by Councilman
Chas J. Dvorak, Seconded by Councilman "gym. F. Za aastil
and unanimously carried that said budget as filed, and
published, be and is hereby adapted and that the Town Clerk
File same with the County Auditor.
The Treasurer's report was read showing amounts in
each of the various funds.
Bills as represented by warrants No. 119 to No. 124
inclusive were read and it wa. s moved:, seconded and unani-
mously carried that said bills be allowed and warrants
approved,
The matter of gravel for the road running east
from the south end of Vanderbilt street was discussed,
'there being no further business to came before
the meeting it was mowed, seconded and carried, to adjourn.
