Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa held this 9th day of Sept. , 1953.
The meeting waseall.ed to order at 8 P. M. by
Mayor Franklin J. Karal.
All councilmen were present.
The minutes of the preceeding were read and
approved®
The treasurer's report was read..
Bills No. 125 to No. 131 inclusive were read I
and it was moved, seconded and carried that sae be
allo,oN4ed and warrants No. 125 to No. 131 inclusive
in payment of Sainte be and are hereby approved.
Bills for Xxx $164.80 by Wm. F. Zamastil and
for $164.80 by Andrew Ga Miller, each for drayi.ng
164 tons of rock for load running east from south
j end of Vanderbilt street were allowed and it was
moved, seconded and carried that warrants Ito. 132 and
No. 133 in payment of saute be and are hereby approved.
It was Moved by Chas J. Dvorak, Seconded by
Howard Steinmetz, and unanimously carried to install
and policy call Light at the intersection of Venderbilt
and Main Street , and the Town Glen was authorized
and instructed to Girder same installed and to make
the- necessary arrangements,
The town clerk was instructed to write Warren
C. AkItley and have hint prepare an ordinance regarding
1 cnesing and regulating the running at l.are of
dogs
There being no further business to come
before the meeting it was moved, seconded and carried
to adjourn.
