eci.al meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Fair ax Iowa held this 10th day of June, 1954.
The meeting was called to order at 8 P. M, CST
by Mayor Joe Petrzel am
Councilmen presnetr Chas J.Dvorak, Raymond Mizner,
Andrew C. Miller and Wm. F. Zamastil,
Councilmen absent: Howard V. Steinmetz.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were road
and approved.
Petitions with 57 names was presented said
petitions asking that the Council pass a resolution
to operate of daylight saving time;. Attached to
the petitions were 7 names of persons who expressed
oppostion to Daylight Savings Time.
A. resolution which is attacked hereto and made
a part of these minutes was presented and it was moved
by Councilman Raymond Xizner, seconded by Councilman
Chas J. Dvorak that said resolution be adapted® Motion
unanimoily carried.
It was moved by Mi.zner, Seconded by Miller and
unanimously carried that the regular meetings of this
council be held on the First Wednesday of each month
at 6 o 'clock Daylight Saving Time from and after this
date to, and including Sept. 26, 1954g after which time
the time of meeting shall again be 7: 30 P. X. C.S®T.
There being no further business it was mewed,
seconded and carried to adjourn.
