Meeting of the Town Council. of the Town o �
Fairfax, Iowa held this 22nd day of December, 1954.
The mayor not being present it was moved,
seconded and carried that Chas J. Dvorak preside as
acting mayor.
All countil en were present.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting; were read
and approved,
The treasurer 's report showing a total balance
of $8,711.04 was read and it was moved, seconded and
carried that the report be approved.
Bills as represented by warrants No. 24$ to
No® 278 inclusive were read and it was moved, seconded
and carried that the same be allowed and warrants
in numbers to correspond be and are hereby approved.
It was moved, seconded and carried that C. J,
I eskimen be paid $22.00 for 11 months dumping privilege
during the year 1954.
ud.olp Nemec, Jr. appeared before the council
regarding the proposed waterway across his lot and
the lots to the north of him and he suggested that if
possible a street be opened instead, the street to
begin at the south side of Church Street and continue
Park Street south to the road running east and west
past the Nemec property® the council was in tarflanica►rs
agreement and efforts would be made to contact all other
property owners from which land would need be acquired
for said street,
There being no further business it was moved,
seconded and carried to adjourn®
