Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Fairfax, Towa
held this 3rd day. of August , 1955
In the absence of M y r g joseph Peter el . , the meeting was
called to order y. Councilman, Chas J. Dvorak, acting mayor.
The meeting was called to order at . N.
All councilmen were present.
The treasurer 's report as read d and. approved,
The budget estimate as filed July , 1955, having been
published in theCedar Rapids, lower Gazette on the 21st
day- of July, 1955 was discussed. There being no objections
filed and no objectors present, said budget was further con..
side red and it was moved by Steinmetz, seconded by Zamastil
and unanimously carried, that said budget as filed, and
published' be and is hereby adopted and that the Town Clerk
file same ,with the County Auditor.
Bills as represented by warrants No. 317 to No. 335, both
inclusive, r. read and it was v d, a sonde and carried
that they be allowed and warrants drawn in payment of
same be and are hereby approved.
In compliance with Ordinance No. 21 the following :names
were submitted for membership in the wn Planning and
Zoning ommi on, terms s to begin Aug. 1, 1955 and expire
as indicated f llowi g the name of each:
Frank L. Ea to and W Behle for terms ms e yin august 19 1957
Edna , y and Florence Fox for terms expiring August 1, 1953
Weith Listebarger and Donald A Reed expiring August 1 , 1959
Cur t1a J. Selzer, for term expiring Augus ? 5 1960
It was moped by Raymond HAner, seconded by Howard Stein-
metz and unanimously carried that persons whos names were
submitted be appointed with terms expiring as indicated.
There being no further business to come before the
meeting it was moved, seconded and carried to adjowr n.
