Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa held this 4th shay of April, 1956.
The meeting was called to or de at 7. 30 P. K.

Howard V. Steinmetz and Leonard J. tanecek.

The ninutes of the preceeding rreetir , were reach
and approved.
0-!?t ion from �r® ar-id Freda Palmer for the T)ur-
chase of the East 50 feet of the North one-half of I,ot3 ,
Block 7, Town of Fairfax, for location of new site for
fire station at S950. 00 was presented by Town Clerk,
rall and it was pro ed by Emanuel seconded by Steinmetz
and unanimously carried that the town purchase said lot
^or the $950.00 as per the option or if approved by
Town attorney to purchase said lot at 800. 09 we to
furnish the abstract if an when needed. Payment for
said lot to be made from funds on hared in the fire
Truck Fund of the Fairfax Fire Department.
There being no further business to come before
the meeting it was moved, seconded and carried to
