Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa held this 5th day of July, 1956
The meeting was called to order at 7: 30 I -m—
by Mayor Raymond D.Mi. ner
All councilmen were present.
Warren C. Ackley, Ton. attorney, e°t with the
c�unc i l and discussed the possible financing of a
sewer s sterm, bond issue for erection of a _sire
station, etc.
The minutes of the proceeding meeting were
read and approved.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the
extension op the Travelers Indemnity Company bond
for 5,000.00, covering the Concrete Materials an
Construction Company for the period July 28, 1956
tO July 28, 1957 be returned and the E.D.Mc oy
agency and the Concrete Materials o straeti o Company
be advised to increase said bond to 100,000.00.

by the Iowa National Mu tai insurance CompanT was pre-
sented and it was moved, seconded and ca Pried that
same be accepted and the premium of 92.64 be paid.
The treasurer v s report was read and it was
moved, seconded and carried that same be approved.
Bills as paid by warrants No. 415 to No. x_222
both inclusive, be approved and pecTment of' same � e
approved.
Town Clark, J.L.Kral , presented the following
budget estimate and record of filing for the estimate o f
expenditures for the year beginning Jan. 1, 1957

it was mo4ed Howard Steinmetz, seconded Q
Leonard Yaneeek and unanimously carried that the
budget estimate as presented be filed and that the
date for hearing b e set as August 1, 1956 at 7 :30
P .M. at Fairfax State Say. Bank, and thatsaid notice
be published in the Cedar Rapids gazette
