Special macting of the Town Council of the I
Town of Fairfax, Iowa- held this 11th day of September,
19'56.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P - M. by
Mayor,, Raymond D. Mizner.
All councilmen present; Vie,: Chas J. Dvorak,
Ralph Emanuel, E. Keith Eistebarger, Howard V. Steinmetz,
and Leonard J. Yaneeek.
Present were Warren C . .Ackley, attorney and
Curtis J. Selzer®.
The purpose of the meeting was to make plans
for an election to vote on the quest is n of issuing
Body to Finance the construction of a new Fire
station"
The proposed plans for the new building were
studied and various other matters discussed and it
as roved, seconded and carded that the election be
set for October 30, 1956' that Mr. Ackley prepare all
maters ecessar to bring the matter before the
electorate and thst amount of the bond askdd for
be not to exceed $89000®00.
It wa3 decided to that the b7a i ne s men of
Fairfax be invi. ed to cone to the next regulars
meeting of the Council which will be held October
3, 1956 at which brae this Satter will be discussed
further.
