Special meeting of the Town..Councll of the Town
of Fairfax, Iowa held this lath day of May, 19-57.
The meeting called to order at i .3 P � s by
Mayor, Raymond D. Mizner.

Ordinance No.
An Ordinance Providing for the regulation and
control of dano haled s copy of hI oh i hereto attached.
and made a part of these minutes was read.
It was moved by Howard V. Stei_nments to adihpt
ordinance No. 25 as read® Motion seconded by Ralp
Emanuel. Roll call showed all councilman voting
in favor of adoptina said ordinance.
It was mowed by Chas J. Dvorak, seconded by F.

No. 25 be suspended and that the ordnance be adopted®
Application for dance hall permit by Royale
Ballroom, Kurtz Brothers, was read and it was moved
b_; � � , seconded by Steinmetz and unanimously
parried that the permit be issued as provided for in
Ordinance #25.
Bond. of F. Keith Listeba.r er as Mayor Pro
Te pore was presented and it was Ynoved, seconded
and unanimously carried that the hand be approved
and accepted.
It was moved, seconded and unanimo usl carri.ed
that the Town Clerk arrange with Warren C . Ackley,to
revan and rewrite all ordinances and that we arrange
tb have them placed in pa plet form
There Being no further business tea come be-
fore th e meetIng it was movedp seconded and carried
to adjourn.

P .S. The town clerk was to see about having Claflin
level the newly graveled streets and to notify the
C.M. & St® Pa R . Co. to repair the two crossings
in the Yawn of Fa I rf'ax.
