The meeting was called. to order at 7 : 30 P . M. by Mayor Pro
Tenp, F. Keith List Barger.
Councilmen present; Dvorak, �' rniel, Li.stebs.r er and Yaneeek.
Councilman steinnntz was absent and Mayor M:i. n.er was absent.
The mintues of the preceedire meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurerts report showing a total cash b lanc of
$10,120®60 on hand was approved
Since there was in excess of $12000.00 in the Public Safety
fund it was moved, seconded and carried that the anticipation
rra.n for $1,500-00 meld by the Fairfax State Savings Banks
bsid of of said- fund.
Bills as represented by warrants NO. 557 to No. 513 Inclusive
were read and approved—
The following applications for .ei. srette permits were read;
Royale e Ball Room, n ot's Tavern, Boland' s Tavern, orel's
roery and Ray' s Teo Service.
It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the
cigarette permits be issued upon. payment of the 050.00 license
fee and filing of proper bored.
Application for Class B Been Pe rmits by oland' s Tavern and
Sankot' s Tavern were read and it was moved, seponded and
carried that each of said permits be issued upon payment
of the $150,00 license fee and filing of proper bond
Mk Jack Duffy appeared before the council recommending that
some action be taken to discontinue and practice of piping
overflow for septic tanks, ate. into the ditach along the
road side. This matter havi. .g been heretofore brought
to the attention of the council by other persons and the
council realizing that a health hazard would occur if this
practice is not discontinued agreed that proper action be
taken. It was moved, seconded and carried that the Town
clerk request Warren C. Ackley, attorney to prepare proper
ordinance to eliminate this matter.
There being no further business to cons before the meeting
it €ass moved, seconded and carried to adjourn.
