The treasurer's report was read and approved, (D � 0

Bills as represented by warrants No. 537 to Nom 549 Ct 0

The result of the municipal elections held Nov. 5th, 0 Ct Ct �
1957 was canvassed and found that Raj and D. Mizner was Ct c�
elected with 57 votes, and Charles J. Dvorak, Ralph H. W
Emanuel, F. Keith Li_stebar ,er, Reward V. Steinmetz and
Leonard J. Yanee€�k were elected the the council® 0 0

The clerk was instructed to obtain necessary blanks �` 0 Q�
from the Iowa Electric Light & Power Company to install
additional street lights at the east end of Church Street Ct
and. continue the lights on the south road east from the �Ct 0 CD

The clerk was institucted to order new "No parking" P, �
signs for .front of Fire Station and L5M?H signs for highway 0

C . i® Knickerbocker appeared before the council with
A reference to the matter of obtaining deed to a part of Nl co et
Avenue which matter is a record in the minutes of Oct. 2nd.
T. H. Neuhaus, Jr. also appeared since he would be closed 01
from entrance to a possible garage to the rear of his
dwelling of the street was dosed® Neuhaus -made nib
objection to the closing of the street. Knickerbocker P DD
believe he should not be made to bear the entire cost of � M
grading and graveling the new streets proposed. However �
the Council, stood firm. on their first proposition and also
advised Knickerbocker that the trees and shrubs growing
on Nickolette Ave., which is not presentl.y being used
be re ovdd at Knickerbocker' s expense. No decisions was
ached. and Knickerbocker said he would take the matter
under further consideration.
