It was open to the p atl%o with the primary purpose of discussing and Col vin g fisting sewer problems. Citizens present °other than town cuff icial were Albert Stallman, Andrew Miller; Richard Zenisek.O Charles Becher, 'Raymond Brecht, Joseph George y. Curtis Selzer, 'Da.v d. .Ahre,n , Tack 'Duffy , James Jakoube , Rudolph Nemec, `,Jr. Various suggest- icons were made in regard to construotion of leeching beds. on each individuals property to take care of water from septic.`hanks. ]feasibility of a large leeching bed, or dry well in front of the Selzer and Nemec property to handle the existing outlets there was discussed, The discussion eventually led to the possibility f a public sewer and water system. The representative group here seemed to be very much in favor of finding out exactly 5 whether or not either or both of these projects could be accomplished. Raymond D. Mizner, mayor A. �. Neuhaus cler MAY 79 1955 Regular meeting of the town council was held this 7th day of May. Meeting opened by Mayor Mizner° with all council Caen present. The treasurers report was read and approved. Warrants no. 615 thru 620 were read and. approved. Fairfax Eire Department was represented by Carver, Wims and Ball to discuss the question of service extension. A motion to have the Fire Department make their own decision and draw theirs own boundaries pertaining to service extension was made by Listeba.rger seconded by Emanuel and unanimously carried. Request from G. L. Palmer was read pertaining to dust control on the gravel road in his vicinity. Possibilities of oiling or clor°ide spreading was discussed. Clerk told to investigate these possibilities and determind what the cost to the town would be. Notion made and carried that $50. 00 be paid to Clarence Meski.mens in addition to the regular fee paid him for dumping privilege. 'This additional fee is for damages dome to growing crops by the truck to obtain access to the dumping area,. This fee is for the current year. Motion by Emanuel. and sedonded by Steinmetz; that a class "B" beer permit be issued the Royale Ballroom operated by James Kurtz and Delbert Kurtz. The completed application along with the statutory I fee has been obtained, proper bond filed with the town. This request approved unanimously. Rudolph Nemec Jr. appeared to request permission from the town to proceed with constructinn of a leeching bed that would extend in front of his lot eastward. This permission ;granted, knowing that the digging will tape place on city property. This request grant- ed with the understanding that the original condition of the land will be restored.to its original Motion .by Steinmetz and seconded by, Emanuel that Andrew.
