Meeting of the town council called to order at 7 ; 30 this
10th day of September., 1958. All councilmen present.
The minutes of the last regular meeting ofi August 6, 1958
and the minutes of the special meeting of August 18 were read
and approved.
Regis Arp and Herbert Schulte appeared before the council
to find out what action they had taken in regard to the request
for zoning qhange that the plan and zoning commission had
denied. There was some additional discussion on the matter
and a vote was taken* By a 4 to I majority, the council ruled
to uphold the recommendation of the zoning, commission,, and thus
deny the petition or the change.
Warrants no.629 thru 639 were read and approved. The treasurers
report showing a total cash Balance of $13,,,819..29 was read and
approved.
It was moved, seconded and unanimously approved 'that a 'class
"B" beer permit be issued to Shirley A. Joyce upon the completion
of the necessary papers . and the filing of the proper bond with
the town clerk.
It was moved, seconded ded and unanimously approved that the salary
of C. L. McCaughey, town marshall, be increased to $300.00 per
month effective August 15, 1958% and to expire Oct. 15 , 1958.
'There being no further business to come before the council , it
was moved, seconded and carried to adjourn,
