The regular meeting of the town council of the towns of F airf c
was called to order at 7 , 30 PH by Mayor Listebar er with t he
following councilmen present : Er anuel$ Steinmetz & Ze isek.

Warrant.s no. 03 to 05 were read and approved .
As reported by the clerk, John gurphy would agree to install
the water meters for the town at $5. 00 each. .any extra tubing
required in the event the meter uas placed by a window would
be furnished by the user. The/ mayor appointed a committee
of himself , Em nuel and Zeni.sek to , talk r i.th Hurphy to
make the . final. arrangement.s®
Florence Fox has inquired about the Lapin g. of the wate" line
in the bank . basementv perhaps taking dater from the banks
tap -Jot he main. She could than use her existing galy. line
that now rams from the bank to the post office. This would
be in .nonconformance with the ordinance , and it was suggested
that the town attorney be asked about the advisability of such
a no`q
The possibility of providing some water to the charitable ,
iron Profit organizations s in Pairfax at a r'educed rate was
discosse^d with no action taken at this time.
Clerk reported that then Jown is out of cul vOrts, a nd there:
had been a couple of requests for same . Xiark instructed to
obtain a. prise list of culverts before any commi �tme nt ran a
purchase of culverts is made .
Ernster e�sti aate no. 5, as apprrwed by Lechner, in the net
amount of $4,989 ®00 was read and approved. This includes a
1C? % retainer nk already deducted.
Clerk reported a visit with ltr. Pratt , representative of Tn.
Read Building 00, Fa.ir•rrron t , liinn . in regard to street repair
work. Pratt would be in Fairfax on May 11 for a special
meeting, if same were called. The Mayor then announced that
there: would be a special meeting at 6;30 on May 11 ,
Ford tractor, complete with blade and loader had been
