The rogular meoting of the town council of ths Town
of Pairfax met at 7430 will all councilmen Presont.
Tho minutes cf the Nugust 2 , Au'gust 23 , and Aug. 29

The following citizens were at this meeting:
Myron Burger, Raymond Brocht , George W. Martin, Jerry
Yorta and Moil Pohlona. They inquired wkether the town
wuold or could do anythtog about drainage and sew go
water in the ditch on the north side of south VandarbilL
Street. Also mentioned was the pos6ibility of dreOging
the suuV side of the same sty nett to aid drainage frow
the Murphy land operated by Gco. W. Martin.
Much discussion was held ana although everyone present,
WcWing the councilmon and oayor, realized something
should bo done to help this situaLiou, nobpdy kPew of
a fcasible solution. it WaF finally suigested that if
both sides of this road were burned out to eliminate som�3
of the rubbish, that then it might be possible to clean the
ditch by hand, thus aiding the drainage problem. On a
motion by Steinmetz and SeLonded by Nonec5 it was decided
that the man present fro w that arc cag and anyone else they
could get to he to, could burn tits ditches in UP near futw-c .
Such mottn approved. It was suggested that the five departwe
ment be notified so that tho truck could be available.
The major appointed a committed of Zenisek, chairman, Stein-
metz and Namec to draft a procedure for the water~ sup-
erintendent in regard to uaintcnance , inspecticn, and
hanoling new parmits. Tho report to be completod by tip ,
October regular meeting.
Clekk instructed to contact `dhit/ney to obtain a sat Cuif
operating insttuctions on our well motor.
Q motion by 7manuel and seconded by Yanecekv it was
approved that the town puruhaso a 3/4" tap for the water
mains.
DisGussion pertaining to water permit, charge for same,
conditions of inspectioR of now taps, etc. was held. Tt
is thought that whoever is the water superintendent coald
do such inspections,
No further business to cone before the uouncilq it was
moved secondod and carriod to Kjourn,
