The town council of th6 town of Fairfax met at 7;30 with
the meeting called to order by Mayor Selzer. All council-
en were pre.san .
The minutes of the Dec. 7, Dec. 30, and January 4 meetings
were read and approved.
W'ar'rants no. 166 thru 216 were reed and approved.
Water works warrants no 1 thru 18 were read d and approved.
Clerk instructed to check with City of Cedar Rapids in
connection with their fee for meter repairs, and also
to write the State Hyenic Lab in regard to our water tests,
The foblowing resolution was introduced by Steinmetz and
the same is on original fora as prepared by Engineer mall
and filed with the clerk,
Starks First Addition to Fairfax, Ia,
Whereas, a Plat of Starks First Addition to Fairfax, lad
has been filed with the town clerk of Fairfax, Ia. and after
consideration. is found to be correct and in accordance with
the provisions of the laws of the State of Iowa, and the
Ordinances of the "Town of Fairfax, Ia. in relation to Plats
and Additions to d'o'wns,
Now Therefor d, Be it resolved by the Town Council of
Fairfax, lam that the said Plat and dedications of the said
Starks First Addition To Fairfax, la. be and the same is
hereby acknowledged and approved on the !part of the 'Town
of Fairfax, Ia. and that the street therein shown be, and
is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and Town Clem are thereby
directed to certify this Resolution of Approval' and affix
-the same to Said Plat as by law provided,
This resolution seconded by Yanecek and upon roll call vote,
was unanimously appro ed.
