the town at the east- border is not owned by the town , so the

Aftcr discussion pertaining to the handling of culverts
to be placed in front of rivat properties, it was decided
by the council that oast uct n projects that had been
started prier to March t , 1911 wolld be entitled to culvert
at town expense , hut that any such projects requiring
culvert that started acter March It 1951, woull not be
entitled to :? cyl vert at town expense,

APPLICATION- FOR ANNEXATION OF THE TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF
FAIRFAX, IOWA, PURSUANT TO SECTION 362-30
IOWA CODE OF 1958.
TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF
T HE TOWN OF FAIRFAX, IOWA.
The undersigned, being the owners of the real estate herein
described, each hereby make application, pursuant to, and as provided
in Section 362.30 of the Iowa. Code of 1958, for annexation of said
Real Estate by the Town of Fairfax, Iowa,, and the incorporation of
said lands owned by them within the corporate 'limits of the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa, and in support hereof respectfully state
1 That the undersigned are the deed holders of the following
described .real estate in Linn County, Iowa, to- wit:
it The 66 foot Public Highway lying Easterly of Fairfax, Iowa, i
described as follows -. A parcel of land 66 .feet wide; the center-
line of which begins at the intersection of the West line of
Section 10®82-8, Linn County, Iowa, and the South lime of the
Chicago and Northwestern Railroad. Right-of-Way; thence South along
the West line of Sections 10-A82®8 and 15-82-8. a distance of
975.68 feet®"
2 That attached hereto is a flat of the territory owned by the
undersigned, showing the situation thereof with reference to
the existing limits of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa, that the above
described real estate owned by the undersigned adjoins and is
contiguous to the existing limits of the Town of Fairfax, Iowa,
WHEREFORE, the undersigned respectfully request that the within
described real estate owned by them be annexed to the Town of
Fairfax, Iowa, and incorporated in its town limits, by Resolution
of the Town Council of the Town of Vai, fa; , Iowa, as provided in
Section 362®30 of the Iowa Code of 1958,
